Reflection

The consecration of Mary to God presented all the conditions of the most perfect sacrifice: it was prompt, generous, joyous, unregretted, without reservation. How agreeable it must have been to God! First Holy Communion

Last Tuesday September 8th, the feast of our Blessed Mothers birth Brigid made her first holy communion at our annual home schooling camp. The Mass was presided over by our bishop the Most Reverend Geoffery Jarrett who in addition to the first communions also confirmed seven home educated children from our diocese.

And Their Off

Sonja and Erin left for world youth day this morning a ten hour bus trip with other pilgrims from our parish will see them arrive in Sydney sometime this evening.

Anthony didn't want Sonja to go he cried for ages after they left.

Parting is such sweet sorrow! We had to say goodbye and cuddle and kiss so many times you'd think that they were leaving home for good.
